3 Sweet Treats for your Loved Ones

And Valentine’s Day is upon us!!  💖Bring on the chocolate!!

Do you have any special traditions you & your family look forward too?? I’d love to hear!

This year we get to enjoy a cousin’s wedding! I’m looking forward to seeing extended family we haven’t seen in a while!!🤗

Are you in the baking mood??

Today, I want to share 3 FREE recipes of our favorite healthy treats!

  • Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • Raspberry Tarts

  • Cream Cheese Brownies

And guess what?! No sugar!!!!😍

Ya know, just because we know sugar is bad for us, doesn’t mean we can’t have baked goodies!

I have started baking with raw honey & whole white wheat flour for quite a few years now.  And we love it!🍯

I did break us in slowly, doing half sugar & half honey for a while, & then doing all honey,

but more then the recipe asked for since we still all had a pretty sweet tooth.  Yes, it took a bit…

But now… my children wince when they eat something very sweet elsewhere!!! Score for mom!!💃

I am always so grateful when they master another good eating habit!!

And likewise, with the flour, I did half white, & half wheat for a long time. And now, baked goods with only white flour don’t have much flavor!

It always amazes me how we train our taste buds!

Hint: If at first your family doesn’t like, try, try, try again!!  Eventually, their taste buds change & you have helped them become wise in healthy eating!!😋

Now for the second recipe…

The other week, I wanted to take something fun to my sister’s coffee break☕… and I procrastinated…. The morning of, I woke up not knowing what to take… 😏

I was hungry for something raspberry, but of course, I didn’t have fresh raspberries…

So I google raspberry tarts… & I get all these amazing cheesecakes,🍰 I was drooling...but of course, I knew I had no time to make them.

I keep scrolling suddenly remembering ...I do have frozen raspberries. And I came upon these sweet looking little tarts, just right for a party!!🧁

It asked for sugar cookie dough, but I decided choc chip cookie dough would do just as well!

That way, I could make some extra cookies for my family as well.  So I quickly mixed together 2 batches of choc chip cookies minus the chocolate chips.

And the rest is explained in the recipe!! Needless to say, they were the cutest little tarts & oh, so yummy! 🤤

Oh & yeah, my husband ate like 4 of them right off the bat. 😎

They’d be perfect for a Valentine’s Party & no sugar!! Score!!✔

Raspberry Tarts

Aren’t they adorable?!

  • 1 cup Chocolate Chip cookie dough (without the choc chips added)

  4. Gently press the center down with your thumb or a spoon.

  5. Cool.

  6. Fill the center with greek yogurt.

  7. Garnish with raspberries.

Treat yourself!!😋

Needing something chocolate??

A friend recently requested this cream cheese brownie recipe, so I thought I’d add it to my “Valentine’s collection”

...cause you just can’t do Valentine’s without chocolate!!💖

I’m starting to switch to Lily’s dark chocolate chips, so you’ll have to ask me in a few months how that’s going!

Try these & let me know what you think!!
