Chicken Breasts…
Ahhh… the chicken breast!! These are so amazing to have in one’s freezer!!
It’s so easy to make a meal out of them.
They are so versatile… you can use them in a dozen different ways! Be sure to grab some next time you are in the farm store!
Just a few examples...as the main meat, in casseroles, salads, tacos, over rice, over your favorite pasta, stuffed with sauteed mushrooms & onions, fajitas & so much more!🌮🥗
Running late? Hubby is coming home in a few minutes & you’re scrambling for a quick meal??
Grab some chicken breasts out of the freezer & run some hot water over them for a few minutes… they’ll thaw in no time!🕓
Meanwhile, decide which way you will fix your meat.
For Baked Chicken Breasts:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (or 425 degrees for 18 min.)
Once the meat is mostly thawed… Rub the meat with butter and add your favorite seasoning🧈🧂 (I like to let it sit for 15 minutes before frying to let the flavors soak in… but only if I have time.)
Put in a baking dish, pour 2-3 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar over meat, 2 Tbsp. butter slabs (or pork lard) & sprinkle salt overall
Bake the breasts for approximately 30 minutes
Check the baked chicken breasts to be sure that they are done, and remove them from the oven (internal temp. should be 165 degrees)
Place them immediately on plates, as they will continue cooking if left in a hot tray
Some of our favorite seasonings are garlic powder, marjoram, rosemary, thyme, parsley, & sea salt. I also like adding freshly squeezed lemon or lime juice. 🍋
You can make roasted veggies & baked potatoes while you’ve got the oven turned on or cook your favorite rice & have cooked broccoli.🥔🥦🥕

For Grilled chicken breasts:
If you want a fancier meal, try grilling your chicken breasts!! Your loved ones will love the added flavor & will thank you for your efforts! And you’ll get some fresh air in while you are making dinner! 💃
For this recipe, you will need your marinade of choice as well as boneless skinless chicken breasts.
Mix up your favorite marinade in a container of your choosing (I often use ¼ c. melted butter, 2 Tbsp. honey, 1 Tbsp. lemon juice, 1 tsp. salt, & ¼ tsp. garlic powder for 6 breasts)
Add the chicken breasts to the marinade and rub the mixture in to ensure that it coats the meat
Let the breasts soak in the marinade between 30 minutes and 3 hours depending on how tender you would like your meat
Prep and preheat the grill over medium-high heat
Place each piece of meat on the grill and set a timer for 7 minutes
Once the timer goes off, flip the chicken and grill for an additional 7 minutes
Remove from the grill and serve with a garnish (bbq, honey, etc.)
Ta-da! Add a salad, some grilled veggies & you’ve got a meal! 🥗
For Stove-Top Chicken Breasts:
Another great way to make chicken breasts is on the stovetop! You can get an even cooking throughout…
And you can have so many different flavors! Try using your favorite taco seasoning!! Yummy!
Coat the meat with butter and season on both sides🧈🧂
The first time I made it, my husband said, “It’s better than any restaurant!” 🤩🥳
Try it!

Whichever way you decide to make your chicken breasts, starting with a great product will make all the difference in flavor & texture. 😋You will also notice it doesn’t take as much meat to make you full as the quality is so much better than your regular box store chicken breasts. Of course, you might like them so much you might overeat! 😉
