It’s what we all crave on these Hot summer days!! 😎 My children are asking for it all the time!

And we have it often.🥰

Why?

Because we have a healthy & so yummy ice cream recipe; I don’t feel guilty about giving them too much ice cream. 🥰

Yes, all God-made ingredients--aka REAL food !!🙌

No preservatives, no high-fructose corn syrup, no additives, etc. 🤢

Just good ol’ fashioned homemade ice cream like you had at Grandpa’s growing up, or at least I did!!🍨

 I loved the ice cream suppers we had growing up!

Once a month, we’d gather for birthdays. And homemade ice cream was always present, we’d all gather around the ice cream maker waiting to lick the dasher, (the best ice cream was on the dasher, I always thought!).

 And then we would have a birthday cake with all the names of the cousins, aunts, or uncles, who had birthdays in that month!🎂 It was always a very looked forward to event.🥳

 After dinner, us cousins would dig out Grandma’s Payday game & take it to a back room to play. Or we’d go downstairs to play ping-pong. It was always a delight when one of the uncles came & played ping-pong with us! 

And before we’d leave Grandma would always give us a lemon drop candy.🍬

Ahhh.. wonderful memories!

Back to homemade ice cream!

In all of its raw goodness!! The best ice cream is made with real cream! Sweetened with maple syrup & pure vanilla, this is so yummy!

And you don’t have to feel guilty indulging!! And your family will be absolutely thrilled!💃

Here is the basic recipe.

Easy enough for your children to help or make by themselves!!

Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream🍨

1 cup raw cream (Borntrager Dairy)

2 ½ cups raw milk (Borntrager Dairy)🥛

¾ cup maple syrup (Borntrager Dairy)

3 pastured eggs (Borntrager Dairy)

1 tsp. Pure vanilla (Borntrager Dairy)

Mix well. And pour into 2 qt. Ice cream maker. Follow ice cream maker instructions.
