Recently, the children were swimming in the heat, and I knew they would be tired and HUNGRY when they came in.
So, I quickly mixed up a batch of chocolate ice cream & just as everyone was coming in, the timer went off, indicating the ice cream was done.
We had yummy chocolate ice cream cones and everyone was revived for the evening.
“Thank you, Mom!” rang thru the house.
And again, I was reminded, most often, it’s the little things.🥰

Sweetened with maple syrup & pure vanilla, it is so yummy.

Here is our basic vanilla recipe.
Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream🍨
1 cup Borntrager Dairy raw cream
2 ½ cups Borntrager Dairy raw milk 🥛
¾ cup Borntrager Dairy maple syrup
3 Borntrager Dairy eggs
1 tsp. Borntrager Dairy Pure Vanilla
Mix well. And pour into 2 qt. Ice cream maker. Follow the ice cream maker instructions.
