Hi there!
Did you know chicken raised on pasture has so much more flavor?? Its meat is much denser & it takes less to fill your tummy!
Chickens raised on pasture are allowed access to their natural diet… harvesting on grasses, bugs, spiders, & more! 🌾🕷🐞🦟🐛
They get lots of sunshine and exercise thus improving the quality of the meat!🌞
When looking for the best option for your family, don’t settle for less than the best! We are only as healthy as the food we eat. 💃
Here are a few pics of how our chickens in the farm store are raised! They supplement them with an organic grain mix.🐓
Jared & Danielle Carmicheal raise them on their small family farm with their young children in tow! We love partnering with them!
And now for the BEST part….
(this is where the eating gets good!)💃😋
Until last week, I had never grilled wings before! Why??! I guess I didn’t know what I was missing out on! And I think I was just a bit nervous if I could really make them that good!! 🤦♀️
At Christmas time, my brother-in-law smoked a whole lot of them & they were sooo yummy! It truly inspired me! Sooo I decided to try it!
Last week I grilled wings for dinner one evening... um, yeah, they were very tasty!!😋😋 Everyone wanted more!💃
We just might have to pull them all off the shelf for our family now!! 😉 Yeah, my family really loved them!

Grilled Chicken Wings
Ingredients:
Thaw a pkg of chicken wings (approx. 9 wings).
Salt
Pepper
Garlic Powder
BBQ sauce
Steps:
In a small bowl, combine salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
In a large bowl, toss the wings with the salt mixture to evenly coat. Let sit for 30 min. for the seasonings to soak in.
Preheat a gas grill to medium heat (about 350 degrees F).
Place the wings on the grill, crowding them together so that they are all touching (this goes against the conventional wisdom of giving meat room so it doesn't steam; you want them to steam so that they stay moist).
Grill, flipping the wings every 5 minutes, for a total of 20 minutes of cooking. I will often spritz with apple cider vinegar after every flip to help keep the meat moist.
In a clean large bowl, toss the wings with your favorite BBQ sauce.
Turn the heat up on the grill to medium-high. Use tongs to remove the wings from the sauce and put them back on the grill until the skins crisp, 1 to 2 minutes per side. Inside meat, temp. should be 165°.
Put the wings back in the bowl with the sauce, toss and serve. I often squeeze a lemon or lime overall just before serving! Yummy!
