Hi there😊,
Not sure what to have for dinner? How about BBQ chicken?? 🍗
In a time when people are social distancing & not sure how to to go about socializing…and because I fully believe God made us to need each other… what can we do?? 🤷🏻♀️
Sometimes thinking out of the normal can be very hard & exhausting… Let me suggest an outdoor evening bbq with your friends or family! 💃🏻
Top it off with some homemade ice cream 🍨 made from real raw cream… you’ll have the whole neighborhood coming!! 🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♂️💨
We are enjoying the fresh chicken we just got from the processor!! Soo yummy! 😋
My husband grilled for the 4th & we all happily dug into the yumminess!!
If you haven’t ordered yours already, now is the time! I’ll be announcing the fresh batch of chickens on FB later this week… Ya’ll get first dibs for being on our email list...so take advantage now!😉

Not sure how to fix BBQ chicken?🍗🍗
Here’s what we did!
I took the thawed pieces & liberally salted the pieces on both sides & let them set on the counter for 15 min. 🧂
Got the grill fired up.🔥
After the grill was nice & hot, Loyd placed the chicken pieces on the grill.🍗
We grilled it on med-high for a minute to seal in the juices, flipped them over & did the other side for a minute & then turned the burners down to low & finished it slowly; basting with apple cider vinegar every 3-4 minutes.
When it was almost done we lathered it with our favorite sauce and cooked it just a minute or two longer to get the BBQ sauce flavor throughout the chicken.
And THEN we Grabbed a plate & enjoyed the farm-fresh goodness!😋😋
Here’s my favorite 2 minute BBQ Sauce recipe:
1 ½ cups ketchup (I get the one without high fructose corn syrup & as few ingred. as possible)
1 Tbsp. raw honey🍯
1 Tbsp. blackstrap molasses
2 tsp. mustard
½ tsp. salt🧂
½ tsp. garlic powder
