Hi there!
Are you curious how it makes sense to budget grass-fed products??🤷♀️
You are at the right place! 🤸♀️
First, I share the benefits we & our customers experience all the time + I share several testimonies!!
Then I go more into detail how to incorporate it into our budgets!
📣Listen to my video to get all the details!!
First tho, how’s October treating you??😎🍁
To all the homeschooling moms… do you feel you’ve got a routine down or are you experiencing the “fall burnout”? That’s a thing, right?!😄
Be gracious to yourself if you’re experiencing this!! Take a day off & do something YOU love!!💝
The last month, I’ve felt we’ve gotten the routine down better!! Yay!
Yet, I’ve also noticed since it’s cooler, everyone stays in the house A LOT more… so chaos & clutter went up a notch!😯 So, we’ve been working on curbing that!!😉
It seems to help, when I remind them to run outside for awhile!
But… oh my!
the coats…
and the boots…!
WHERE do they belong?? 🙄 We’re still working on that one!😍
Benefits of Eating Grass-fed
So, I feel, it’s much easier to budget for something a bit more expensive when you understand the benefits you’ll receive!!
I’ve listed some fairly immediate benefits (will vary from person to person):
You will feel more energetic🤸♀️
You will have better overall health
Your allergies often disappear🤩
Your health issues; gut issues, skin disorders, joint pain, diabetes, lactose intolerance, etc… get better over time 💃
You’ll have less missed time at work or school from sickness🙌
You’ll feel satisfied with less food😋
You can go longer without snacking
+ lots more😍
More long-term benefits:
You’ll spend less on healthcare👏
Your health issues are resolved
Your quality of life is greatly improved
You’ll be able to run with your grandkids🏃♀️🏃♂️
Ok, now that we know the benefits, let’s see how we can budget it…
✔Less spent on empty calories!🤑
Yes! You can move money from your “snack/junk food” budget & use that for nutrient-dense foods; you’ll be healthier + have more energy!
You’ll be buying fewer groceries… 💲💲
One of our customer’s testimonies…
They knew they wanted to eat healthier but it was more expensive. They decided to take the plunge. At the end of the year, they were excited to see they spent significantly less than the year before on food!! 🤸♀️
Now...if that’s not EXCITING!!💃💃
The nutrient-dense foods were filling them up to where they didn’t need to buy as much!!
Add fewer doctor bills & it’s a no-brainer… eating grass-fed makes sense!
We’ve experienced this time & time again!!
Eating fast-food while traveling never keeps us full for long and then we start snacking & soon have that bloated feeling from overeating!🤢
It’s not worth it anymore as I often end up with either a migraine or a stomach ache… Then I start thinking, hmmm… I should have saved that money!!😢
✔Food is your Medicine…
Have you ever heard this phrase??
I really believe there is a lot of truth in eating food to keep our bodies healthy!! 😋
Consider adding your grocery budget to your healthcare/medicine budget…
by having them in the same account, you can spend more on food & you will spend less on doctor bills!🤩
✔Buying Choices
This one will vary for each individual. You have to decide what works for your family!!
I wanted to bring it up since I believe we Americans sometimes forget what society is telling us... might not be what is BEST for us… I know I do!
Consider this for a moment with me… we Americans want to drive the best vehicles & have the nicest houses…🚗🏡
when we (me included!) get a raise or have a little extra money, we get a better vehicle, take a bigger vacation, upgrade our house, etc…
all ok things; but why do we not take better care of our health??🧐
Having the nicest vehicle & a Pinterest perfect house will not matter in the face of a health crisis…
health crisis happens bit by bit, little decision by little decision… & suddenly you have a crisis…
The great thing… it’s the other way also, healthy eating habits start bit by bit…
one buying choice at a time, & soon you’ll realize the difference in your overall energy & you’ll be living life to the fullest!!
A few years back, I read a study that had been done in regards to budgeting…
back in the 1930s & 1940s, people spent nearly 80% of their income on food, in the early 2000’s American people were spending an average of 17% on their food!😱
Ladies, we make most of the food choices for our families… let’s make wise buying choices, remember we are raising generations after us…
+ we want to be around for our grandchildren! We want to be able to run & play with them!
In closing, remember these 2 things:
Knowing your Farmer means Knowing your Food!! 👨🌾🧀🥩
Food is Medicine!!😋
